  • Smart+ Web Campaigns are useful for lower funnel actions, Smart+ Catalog Ads are for delivering relevant product recommendations, Smart+ App Campaigns are for driving app installs, and Smart+ Lead Generation Campaigns are for converting.

  • Google Merchant Center adds two new verification methods which are code via business email and via e-commerce platform.
  • The approved e-commerce platforms are Shopify, BigCommerce, Lightspeed, Magento, Squarespace, Weebly/Square, Wix, WordPress/WooCommerce, amongst others.

13. Google announces 11-year data retention policy

  • Google announces all data will now be retained for 11 years.
  • Hence, data older than 11 years will no longer be accessible through the API.
  • This new policy is effective from November 13, 2024.
